Hello August ... Hello New Season ...

Things are about to get a little crazy!

As we welcome in the new month at BiiRD we welcome with it the "unofficial" start of Summer 11 as new collections begin arriving daily right throughout the month of August!

Plus finally next month will see the launch of BiiRD online where you can shop the BiiRD experience at www.biird.com.au from the comfort of your home (dressing gown, pj's and all!).

NEW SEASON JAC + JACK IN STORE NOW ...

A long standing customer favourite at BiiRD .. collections this season arrive in two very distinct drops .. Our first screams pure Jac + Jack styled in neutral colourways and luxe fabrications.

This one we are LOVING! Following on in a break from tradition we call this there "colour" collection. Inspired by this seasons colour trend, it is bursting with the most amazing array of colours and prints ...

Our pick - Check out the ethnic inspired Ikat print dress - sure to be this seasons standout piece due to arrive in store late September.

RACHAEL RUDDICK - LAUNCHING NEW TO BiiRD THIS SEASON!

It is always great to see Australian designers getting the international recognition they deserve and this is certainly true for hand bag and accessory designer Rachael Ruddick.

Her totes, clutches, handbags and jewellery are stocked in 80 stores around the world and recently Ruddick secured a deal with Selfridges in London to display her latest range in its windows for the Summer 11 launch .. pretty impressive to say the least.

Proudly we can now add BiiRD to this impressive line up with the launch her new collection titled "The High Life 2011" this August 11.

BiiRD Pick: We fell in love with the whole collection but there was one standout piece sure to be the dark horse of the bunch .. We are loving "The Castlereagh Clutch in Tangerine Tie Dye". A great on trend piece for this season in pop colour Tangerine .. it just screams Summer!

Highlight .. Liberty of London from BEBE - In store this week

When you see the words "Liberty" and "Floral" in the same sentence you can pretty much be assured that you are on to winning combination fashion wise and for Bebe this season, it pretty much sums up the vibe for there Summer 11 collection.

Full of gorgeous Liberty of London floral prints it would be fair to say this is one of my favourite collections to date all styled in the sweetest collection of dresses, ruffle back bloomers, hats and more ...

And you wont have to wait .. BEBE arriving in store this week.


Another standout this season is COCO & GINGER. Full of gorgeous signature florals prints in luxe fabrications of silk and cotton voile .. it is definitely one you don't want to miss this August!

New this Season ... "COLLETTE"

New to launch this season at Biird - Collette Dinnigan diffusion collection simply titled 'COLLETTE'.

Described in her own words "A travel leisure collection. Much more relaxed and bohemian .. I call it city-to-surf".
